Roman Andrade Llaguno was born in San Juan del Estado, Etla, Oaxaca in 1959. Andrade is a family man whose work celebrates his life with his wife, three children, extended family and community. He studied at the Taller de Grabado de la Cultura de Oaxaca and he studied graphics and painting at the Taller Libre de la Grafica Oaxaqueña under Juan Alcazar. During the ‘90s Andrade lists nine one-man shows in Mexico. His work has been shown extensively in collective exhibitions since 1981, in Mexico, the United States, and Europe.
